How do I find scholarly journal articles in GALILEO?

Answer

In GALILEO, select Classic Search and enter the keywords in the search box.

Enter the keywords for your search into the boxes. Click on the search button.

From the results page select the Peer Reviewed filter to make sure your results include scholarly journal articles.

The Full Text limiter will limit to only articles available through our library. Under All time, you can also search for specific date ranges such as the Past 10 years.

To get the article, select the Access now or Access options button below the citation.

Some articles may have more than one option.

If you need an article that is not available, submit an Interlibrary Loan request which will send an article to you electronically if it is available through another lending library. Just be sure to enter all of the information into the Interlibrary Loan Form

For personal research assistance, you can also schedule an appointment with a librarian using the booking tool: https://thomasu.libcal.com/appointments/students
